It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
Luckily for the two, they were travelling so fast that anyone who saw them speed by simply thought they were two weirdos in costumes taking a ride. “I told you my bike was something special, didn’t I!” He shouted over the roar of the engine, still gripping tightly onto Brooklyn’s shoulders. He enjoyed how his fingertips brushed over the smooth surface of the gargoyle’s leather jacket.
“Heck yeah it is!” He was grinning as they got closer to the garage. For the gargoyle, he liked the feeling of riding with someone on the bike, wishing his rookery brothers could enjoy this too. It wasn’t until then red and blue lights started to follow them. “Uh oh…”
Chip looked over his shoulder once he heard the telltale blaring of a police siren come from behind. ”Not good… We gotta lose these guys fast.” He wasn’t in any mood to be caught by the authorities tonight. “I’ve got it. Take the next right and keep on going till you reach a road going up a hill. That’ll be our way out of here!”
“On it!” He immediately took the next right up the hill with the police slowly losing their trail, but it seemed that they were not going to give up just yet. “Where to next!”
