It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
He wasn’t upset that the race was a tie at all as he stopped his vehicle almost shortly after they both crossed the finish line. This was honestly the most fun he’s had in awhile that didn’t end in a wreck. When he stopped, the gargoyle took off his shades and looked at the other with a smirk. “Stressed out your engine too much, huh?”
Chip slammed on his brakes as soon as he passed over the line, though he ended up rolling a few extra feet thanks to the all the extra speed he had built-up. Once he came to a halt, he flipped the switch again and his engine changed back to it’s familiar throaty growl. “Looks like I used up the rest of my nitro on that race.” He sighed whilst pulling up next to the gargoyle, though still smiling. “Still, that was a hell of a great time. Thanks for the race.” Chip held out his hand to the other.
The gargoyle kept his smirk up and held the others hand in a shake. It wasn’t until then he noticed the sky turning a familiar color and the smirk turned into a look of worry. “Uh, oh. I need to head back home.”
With that said, he quickly started to roll his bike into the garage. The sun was on the verge of coming up and the gargoyles urgency was clear.
