It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
Seeing the gargoyle react to something as simple as that amused the wolf greatly. “Welcome to the present day.” He gave a little laugh and patted his friend on the shoulder. Chip took a sip from his own can and relished the sweet, refreshing flavour. It wasn’t often he got to taste something this nice. He had these cans of soda stashed away for a while now, and tonight seemed like the right time to finally bring them out.
“And what a welcome it is. Sure if has its ups and downs, but right now the highs are really starting to overshadow those downs.” He chuckled and drank more of his beverage, finishing his can and crushing it with his bare hands. He turned the aluminum can into a ball shape , not getting any cuts in his hand. It wasnt until later he started burping in his hands when the fizz was doing its thing to which he gave another embarrassed laugh as it happened again.
The laughter was infectious for sure, as Chip found himself sharing a hearty chuckle with Brooklyn. “Heh, that’ll do that to you.” the canine snickered and hardly even realised as he put his arm over Brooklyn’s shoulders in a friendly manner. Fingertips found themselves brushing over the smooth leather of the gargoyle’s jacket again.
The gesture almost surprised him, but he didn’t mind it too much until he noticed that the fingers were gently touching the smooth leather. It didn’t feel forced or anything so the gargoyle wasn’t very alarmed. “Geeze, Chip. Heheh. Your really into Leather.”
