It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
The gargoyle glided thanks to his wings and landed gently. He did the same when he glided over to the next roof and laid low as he looked down to the broken window. Seems the intruders were still inside doing whatever inside the place as quiet as possible.
“Ready? We don’t know what their holding so we’re gonna need to be cautious, alright?” He whispered to the other, waiting for the crooks to come out.
Chip kneeled down on the edge of the roof and listened with anticipation as to what the criminals would do next. With a look of determination on his face he turned to the gargoyle and nodded understandingly. “Right. Let’s try and make this quick and with as little damage as possible.” He whispered back. “You take the lead, Brook.”
In less than a minute, the two ski mask crooks came out with heavy duffle bags, carefully going down the fire escape from which they came in earlier. Brooklyn motioned the other to jump down the alleyway with him once the humans made it down there. Once they did, he landed gracefully down behind the crooks, wings folded. “I believe you have something that doesn’t belong to you….”
In no time, one of the masked humans pulled out their pistol gun at the strangers. “Come closer and I’ll shoot.”
Meanwhile, the other two rookery brothers were watching from afar, making sure that if things gwt hasty, they would jump in at a moments notice.
