It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
“This city is beautiful from no matter which angle you look at it.” He added whilst gently caressing his hand up and down over the side of the gargoyle’s arm. “Though I gotta say this has to be the most spellbinding view of all.”
This time the gargoyle rested his hand on the others shoulder, while he wasn’t tired, he was very relaxed in the others arms. Was this too fast? Maybe, but did it feel really nice? Yes it did. “Hey, Chip? You ever miss your old life? You don’t have to answer.”
Something about having Brooklyn so close like this made Chip’s heart rate pick up a little. “Sometimes. I miss not being able to go out in public during the daytime, and I liked my job as a mechanic… But I guess having things change so radically helps you appreciate the world more.”
He nodded. “I’m sorry your life got ruined and your right. With past experiences even after waking up from forever, you do appreciate your life more at least…” In a way he wanted to help the other get his life back, but he knows little of what happened to the wolf man and he didn’t want to bring that subject up. At least not here.
The two of them must have been here for a very long time because the gargoyle noticed that the sky was getting much more lighter blue than dark. Upon seeing this it almost caused him to panic in alert. “I gott a go…”
