Night-time in New York City, the time of day during which many of the city’s freaks and other strange phenomena would come out from their hiding places, and for Chip he was no exception. Tonight he found himself in a place he frequented: an old automotive junkyard which served as a particularly handy place to scrounge for parts when his motorcycle needed repairs. However, tonight he would uncover something he wouldn’t have ever expected, another fellow freak of the night.

It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.

“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.

“I take it you went to that food place again, huh, Broadway?” Brooklyn asked when the bag was handed to him after Broadway had a mouth full of food and in his arms. All he could do was nod and keep eating.

The red gargoyle took a handful of what was in there and started to eat as well, handing the large sac to Lex who too his share and handed it lastly to Chip which was abound halfway gone, bit still a lot left inside. “Humans sure do throw alot of good food away like this. Wonder why?” Lexington asked, slowly eating his breadth savor the flavor and enjoy it while they still had it here.

“You’re telling me. I can’t stand it when people let good food go to waste.” Chip shrugged as he took the bag and dug through it. “Then again if they didn’t then I wouldn’t get to eat.” He grabbed a handful of the bread rolls and pastries and set the bag down before digging in. Chip was used to the food he ate not being all that fresh, so that didn’t detract from enjoying the baked goods.

“Survival man I right?” Brooklyn said, finishing up his handful while grabbing a few more bread rolls.

After a few moments of silence, the large gargoyle let out a few burps and patted his stomach with a chuckle. He ate a lot more on the way here so tha tf would explain why he felt so satisfied right now. Sure there was fresh food at the castle, but he loved going to this one place for immediate thrown out baked goods.
