It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
Chip leaned cautiously against the edge of the stone turret, towering over the ancient castle and the modern skyscrapers that surrounded them. A rush of both danger and wonder flooded through the wolf as his bright blue eyes gazed out across the vast city skyline. “Wow… it’s so different seeing things from this angle.” Chip marvelled at over the stunning view. He had seen things from up high while sailing though the air with his bike’s glider, but this was something else entirely.
Brooklyn would sort of have his feet on the refurbished ledge as if he was just gonna perch up here like a stone gargoyle. “Never really been this high up before we came here. Could probably glide to the other side of the city if I tried.” He looked back at the wolf mutant.
“Betcha get a lot farther than I would with that bike of yours, right?” He gave him a small nudge on the side.
Chip held tightly to the stone ledge, feet planted firmly on the ground as to not lose his balance. “Hah, couldn’t say for sure.” He shrugged to himself whilst gazing off into the distance, seeing the city lights sparking over the far-off surface of the river. “My bike’s way heavier then you are, so that gives you an edge.“ Chip tried to consider the logistics of such a flight. “Then again my bike has built-in nitro boosters. Kinda hard to beat that with just a pair of wings.“
He nodded to that and looked back down at the city. “How did you get that thing built, again? Seems pretty out there compared to what other humans I see when we ride around them.”
Chip leant forward, resting an elbow against the weathered stone ledge. “Heh. I told you, didn’t l? My bike is actually stolen.” He shit a sideways glance towards his friend, smirking hard. “Some street thugs thought it’d be wise to mess with me, so I gave ‘em a smackdown and took the leader’s ride for my own. The glider mechanism happened to already be built into it.”
He does remember that now and nodded towards the wolf, smirking back at him. “Well it was self defense after all do I can’t blame you there. Must have had some pretty good connections to get that built, but who knows. Figures the leader would have a tricked out bike like that.”
