It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
Chip leant forward, resting an elbow against the weathered stone ledge. “Heh. I told you, didn’t l? My bike is actually stolen.” He shot a sideways glance towards his friend, smirking hard. “Some street thugs thought it’d be wise to mess with me, so I gave ‘em a smackdown and took the leader’s ride for my own. The glider mechanism happened to already be built into it.”
He does remember that now and nodded towards the wolf, smirking back at him. “Well it was self defense after all do I can’t blame you there. Must have had some pretty good connections to get that built, but who knows. Figures the leader would have a tricked out bike like that.”
“Well the glider wasn’t nearly as impressive as it is now.“ Chip went on to explain further. “First thing I did was disassembled the glider to figure out how it worked, then put it back together again with a few new improvements.“
“Sounds like the kind of stuff Lex would do when he built the first bike before it got wrecked by accident. Still amazing someone like that would have such a thing on their bike in the first place.” He stretched and looked back at the skyscrapers below them until his stomach started to rumble. “Looks like it’s time to eat. Hungry?” The gargoyle looked back at the wolf.
“I tell ya, whoever built the original version didn’t do a great job. Took a lotta work to get it properly stabilised.” Chip smiled to himself, proud at his own achievement. He continued to stare out over the cityscape when he heard the growling of the gargoyle’s belly. He glanced back over to Brooklyn and stepped back from the ledge. “Yeah, I could do with something eat. But first while we’re up here…” The biker drew closer to his crimson companion, one arm wrapping around his slim shoulders and pulling him near. “How bout a little evening kiss? Couldn’t picture a more romantic spot than right here.”
It’s weird how he almost forgets that Chip has such strong arms that could pull him away with ease to being wrapped in them. There was such a difference in their body types it’s like he could just hide behind the large wolf without anyone seeing him. Upon being in this position, the gargoyle couldn’t help but give the wolf a small blush with a smirk. “Don’t mind if I do….” Without hesitation, Brooklyn brought his beak up to Chip’s canine muzzle, holding one hand on the side if his fuzzy face.
