It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
The smell of the stewed beef grew stronger once they entered the kitchen. “Smellin’ pretty nice there, big guy.” Chip said with a delighted grin, feeling himself grow hungrier at the sight. It had been a good while since the wolf had eaten a proper hearty, meal. “How long till you think it’s gonna be ready?”
He checked the consistency of the stew and looked back up at the couple. “About a few more minutes. How about you two get some bowls so I can serve this.” Broadway smiled towards them both even though there was a slight bit chance he was hoping he could have this all to himself, but didn’t mind sharing over all. Plus this kitchen has a lot more ingredients to make other things.
There was no way Chip would turn down the chance for a warm meal. “Sure! Let’s see….“ Chip muttered to himself and glanced around the kitchen for them. He found several stacked up on a nearby shelf, which he grabbed and carried over to the countertop nearby the pot Broadway was cooking with.
“Thanks, Chip. You can have the first bowl.” Broadway said as he poured the contents of the pot into bowl and gave it to the large wolf. Brooklyn gave him a spoon as the bluish gargoyle poured the stew into the other bowls as Brooklyn took his share and started to eat.
“Man, Broadway! This tastes really Good! Only thing so can say is that it’s just a little bit salty, but other than that you did a good job.” Brooklyn complimented in between mouthfuls, making the other gargoyle in the kitchen, smile.
