Night-time in New York City, the time of day during which many of the city’s freaks and other strange phenomena would come out from their hiding places, and for Chip he was no exception. Tonight he found himself in a place he frequented: an old automotive junkyard which served as a particularly handy place to scrounge for parts when his motorcycle needed repairs. However, tonight he would uncover something he wouldn’t have ever expected, another fellow freak of the night.

It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.

“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.

Chip took note of the time. Still plenty of time left until he had to make his way back home. “Oh I bet he’s gonna love this.” He said confidently, remembering how much the short gargoyle had an interest in motorcycles. Without skipping a beat he went on over to the elevator with Brooklyn.

It didnt take long for them go reach the garage. During the trip down, Brooklyn would nuzzle the wolf’s neck a few times right before the elevator door would open. The sound of metal beating against each other can be heard echoing the garage as well as the sight of some sparks flying. As they walked in, some mechanical books can be seen spread out in a few places on the floor.

“Hey, Lex!” Brooklyn called out as he lead Chip over towards the short gargoyle who had a welding mask over his face and some grease smears on his skin. It seems that he is working on a new bike of some sorts, but in the very early stages of it.

“Hey, Brooklyn. What’s up?” Lexington said, not looking up from his handi work just yet.

The sound of tools clanging off of metal and the sight of bright orange sparks showering the ground and immediately the wolf felt like he was home. “Heya there, Lex!“ Chip called over the sounds as he got a good look at the gargoyle’s little project. The burgeoning framework of a motorbike could be made out from the mess of metal that sat on the ground. “Looks like the love of bikes spreads pretty quick around here!“

Finally the smaller gargoyle looked up and saw that Chip was with Brooklyn as well. “Oh hey there, Chip. Didn’t see you there. Since that billionaire isn’t here, I thought I’d take advantage of the materi-” It was then, Lexington saw the look of his rookery brothers hair.

“Holy…Brook! How did you get that styled?” He came up to the taller gargoyle to examine his spiked up hair.

“Yours truly. Looks cool, right?” Brooklyn replied, gesturing to the wolf man next to him.
