It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
“Looks like you guys made the wrong call.” Saud by one of the thugs who came at Chip with the switchblade as another went to try and throw deep punches at him. While that happened, two of the men came to tackle the gargoyle only to have then get smacked by his thick red tail and thrown at the 5th gang member.
The man with the switchblade made a swipe at Chip, but he was halted dead in his tracks when the wolf swiftly caught him by the wrist. “Bad idea.” He warned the man before lifting him off the ground with one hand and swinging him like a ragdoll into the other gangster trying to throw a punch his way.
5 of the 6 gang members were down now and had minor scratches. While they didn’t want to show it on their faces, they were looking pretty damn scared at the two strangers now. The one holding the young teen dropped him and tried to keep up a tough facade. “Alright man well leave. This pipsqueak isn’t even worth out time. Let’s go guys.”
The thugs gladly left, giving the two ‘this ain’t over’ looks and left the scene. The young human looked up at the two with a shocked face, but he didn’t look too afraid.
“Next time we’ll rip your throats out!” Chip shouted to the frightened thugs as they fled into the night. Once they had cleared off, he turned his attention to the youth still sprawled out on the ground. “Hey, little man. You alright?“ he asked calmly whilst kneeling down, trying not to scare or intimidate him.
The boy was slightly shaken as the gargoyle brought out his large hands to help the other up to which the boy cautiously took. “I,I…I n,need to h,head home now…th,thank you…” With that he left the scene, running back to where he lived.
“That’s a rare one. He didn’t scream at us.” Brooklyn commented on, looking at the wolf man. He usually gets a scared scream at folks he saves and this was honestly a refreshing moment.
