It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
The soft smile upon Chip’s face quickly burst into a bright, beaming grin. Without any hesitation he put his large arm around the gargoyle’s back and pulled him in close till they were shoulder to shoulder. “You don’t know how happy makes me, Brook.” The wolf was overflowing with sheer joy. “These past few months have been too damn lonely, and you’re the best thing that’s happened to me since who knows when.”
Brooklyn grinned and wrapped an arm around the others side since the other was doing the same. He could definitely tell that the other was very much so happy in this moment out of all the loneliness he has been feeling and since the gargoyle had pretty much been hated be everyone except for his clan and human friend so far in this century, it was great to see that there was another out there that liked him. Hell. With Chip is was most likely love at this point. “After being not well received by like the people you saw that we saved not too long ago, it’s great to see that there are people like you out there that accept me just like how I accept you.”
Chip’s other hand found itself reaching up to cup against the side of Brooklyn’s cheek. “I don’t care what normal people say. My life might not be the greatest, but I’ll be damned if it wasn’t made a hundred times better with you in it.“ His smile softened and with a gentle pull he brought Brooklyn’s face closer till their lips were but inches apart.
“I can say the same with you…” The gargoyle allowed the wolf to pull him closet till their lips were so very close apart that Brooklyn himself decided to go full 100 and press his beak softly onto the wolf’s muzzle. His hands would hold thevothets sides as he even brought his chest to touch the others more muscular body just so they could he closer.
Once their lips met Chip’s eyes slowly closed on their own and he gently held the gargoyle against him. His breathing was slow and heavy, with his heartbeat starting to pick up from the excitement. There was something incredibly special he felt both he and Brooklyn shared. Being so close, so intimate with the crimson gargoyle felt more right than anything else in the wolf’s life and he didn’t want that to change.
This was something the gargoyle has never really felt before even though he kind of knee it would have eventually happen in the future once he had a mate. The feeling was…love. Yes. That’s the right word to use and never in a million years he would have thought that he’d be the mate of a mutant wolf man like Chip in his lifetime. Once he pulled back, he had a blissful smile on his face that would have said he wss very satisfied with his current situation until he thought about his clan. “Hey, Chip? I know this might seem ubrupt, but I might wanna check up on my clan mates just so they know I am okay.”
The sweet embrace ended too soon for Chip’s liking, but in such a peaceful state he didn’t want to let go at all, even though he knew he had to. He gazed back at Brooklyn with a calm, loving expression. “Oh sure. They’re probably wondering why you didn’t come back last night.” He said with an understanding nod. “You wanna go by yourself or think I should go too? It’s up to you Brook. I just hope that sore behind of yours doesn’t give you any trouble.” Chip added with a light chuckle.
Brooklyn thought about it for a short while. “I think you should come with me. Plus my butt is still sore so I’m gonna need a ride back to the castle so I don’t have to keep climbing up buildings just to get up there. Less leg movement. Heheh. As long as I don’t do too much, so I should be good by tomorrow night when I’m fully healed.”
