It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
“Defiantly.” He replied as the elevator doors opened and the crimson gargoyle walked in and waited for the other to follow. Once he got in the gargoyle would pick one of the lower floors of the actual castle. It would only take about less than a minute for them yo reach the desired floor.
“This is the dungeon. Not much to see here besides wall chains and a couple boxes of who knows what’s in there.” Brooklyn said. To him there were probably just storage items that have yet to find their place in the complex.
The doors opened to reveal the cold stone interior of the castle dungeon. Chip glanced around and took note of the scattered boxes across the floor, giving the dank, dark space more the feel of a dingy basement than a medieval dungeon. “Guess there’s not much need for a dungeon in this day and age.” The wolf joked lightly and patted Brooklyn on his shoulder.
“Heh. Yeah. Maybe for future enemies if we ought to keep them down here, but then again I found out there is jail in this city so there’s no need for this.” He pressed another button, the doors closing as they went up some more till the elevator stopped.
“Welcome to the first official floor. The Great Hall.” He stepped out of the elevator to bestow the other the very large room. “This use to be where meals and entertainment took place and now it’s more of a lobby or foyer.”
Upon reaching the first floor Chip stepped out of the elevator into the cavernous Great Hall. Turning in place he examined every inch of the spacious hall, imagining the festivities that must’ve taken place within these walls once upon a time. “Impressive, very impress.” Chip remarked, his mind still wandering over the possibilities of the past.
The room is decorated with tapestries and a glass casing where the Grimorum Arcanorum use to be. Some of the original stone work was still present yet updated to an extent just to keep the castle as stable as it could be for the modern day.
“It sure is. Back in the day I was never allowed in here due to humans not trusting us gargoyles very well at the time. Sure we still protected them and they never kicked us out, but they still were a bit cautious with us.” The red gargoyle said ad he walked around with Chip.
