It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.
“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.
Brooklyn thought about it and what Chip said could go one way or the other one where he got attacked by that biker gang. “Hmmm. Chances of that are sort of slim, but I don’t remember seeing any gangs in this area, unlike the last time I went more public yet disguised. We can try it.” There was confidence in his voice when he said that.
“Hey, I spent my whole life here in New York, so I’m no stranger to the kinda things that go on here.” Chip reassured Brooklyn with a friendly shoulder rub. “Besides, if anyone gives us trouble then we know how to handle ourselves.” He could sense the confidence surging inside of the gargoyle. Maybe it was his radical new wardrobe, or maybe it was just because Chip was by his side. No matter the reason the two of them were more than ready to brave the open Manhattan streets.
“True. We can fight our way through it.” He gave the other a smile as he led the wolf mutant to the nearest exit towards their bike. He made sure that they were not seen by the skeleton crew like janitors, security and such on the way there or else things would have gotten more complicated for them. It ddin’t take them long before they made it to their desination at said exit.
“Ready?” he asked Chip.
