Night-time in New York City, the time of day during which many of the city’s freaks and other strange phenomena would come out from their hiding places, and for Chip he was no exception. Tonight he found himself in a place he frequented: an old automotive junkyard which served as a particularly handy place to scrounge for parts when his motorcycle needed repairs. However, tonight he would uncover something he wouldn’t have ever expected, another fellow freak of the night.

It’s been sometime since the motorcycle incident that his rookery brother Lexington made to which he himself messed the entire vehicle up. The smaller gargoyle was definitely not happy with this development, so in an effort to make it up to him, he was scouring an automotive junkyard they went to last time to gather up the parts for the bike. Tonight he was alone, looking into piled up cars and motorcycles for the appropriate parts, being pretty cautious to not be seen by humans after what happened the last few times.

“Ugh…doing this alone is harder than it looks…” He muttered to himself as he kept looking.

Chip took off right after Brooklyn, breathing a sigh of relief as the sirens steadily grew farther and farther away. Once they were at the safe haven of the empty warehouse, the wolf pulled his motorcycle in alongside his companion. “Pretty close, but I’ve had even closer shaves.” Chip remarked as he shut off his bike’s ignition.

“I won’t doubt you on that, Chip.” Brooklyn chuckled the patted the wolf man on the shoulder. Broadways stomach growled and left with the promise of bringing back food. Once he left it was just the three of the now and to fill in the awkward silence the green gargoyle was eyeing the others bike. “May I look at your bike? Brooklyn told me it has wings and a very powerful engine.”

The smaller gargoyle’s curiosity intrigued the wolf, who flashed a smirk of pride. “Interested in my bike huh? Sure, feel free to take a gander.” He motioned for Lex to get a closer look. “And I wouldn’t really call them wings, but…” Before Lex could get closer, Chip pulled the small lever near the front of the motorcycle and activated the glider mechanism. Out furled the impressive, large purple sail. “…You’re not far off.”

His eyes were lite with intrigue as he studied the sail and gliders, lightly touching them so they would not make a scratch, looking at every singly detail on this miter vehicle. “I have got to make this someday…” A huge grin grew on his face as he thought of the possibilities on what he can do with a new bike.
